Using a tip chart

Round your bill to the nearest row. For a bill between rows, add rows together: the tip on $65 at 20% is the $60 row ($12.00) plus the $5 row ($1.00), so $13.00.

How do I read a tip chart?

Find your bill in the left column, then read across to the tip percentage you want. For amounts between rows, use the nearest row or add two rows together (a $65 bill = the $60 row + the $5 row).

What percentages should a tip chart include?

15%, 18%, 20% and 25% cover almost every US situation. You can change the columns above before printing.

Can I print a wallet-size tip chart?
